2006 has arrived and while we wish we could announce that board prices have fallen, steadily increasing material costs necessitate price increases.  Eglass and Sglass boards will cost you about 5% more in 2006 while Carbon boards will cost about 10% more (to start with...).  Carbon has been in particularly short supply due to Boeing and Airbus launching several new projects which rely heavily on Carbon Fiber.  Carbon pricing is now approaching 300% of what it was just one year ago and we are having trouble locating our most preferred weaves and styles of carbon at any price.  Unfortunately this translates in to more expensive Carbon boards and while we would like to say that there is an end in sight it looks like this trend will continue for the near future.
