HYBRID SHAPE SIZE CHART

Choosing a properly sized skimboard is critical to consumer satisfaction.  Our Hybrid Shape skimboards are very similar in size to the Pro Shapes at the smaller end of the spectrum.  At the larger end however, Hybrid Shapes are shorter and effectively smaller than Pro Shapes of the same size.  Customers should aim for board sizes squarely targeted at their weight as indicated in the chart below.

DUDE! CRUISE SHAPE SIZE CHART

The "Dude! Cruise" is a retro fish-like shape introduced by Exile in 2010.  It is available in three sizes which cover a large and often overlapping weight range.  The boards are intended to feel big under your feet.  If you are in the desired weight range of one of these, you will be cruising for sure.  If you are in an overlapping weight zone you can make a choice between the smaller of the two for a 'big but manueverable board' or step it up to the larger size for 'maximum cruise potential'.  The choice is yours!

    Our boards come standard with a glossy finish. At no extra charge we can make it a textured deck, adding strength and durability. This option is preferred by almost all of our team riders.

    Additionally, colors with an asterisk at the end are mixed by hand and hence vary far more from board to board than the others.

  • By default our boards are made from 5/8" foam, with tapering in the nose and tail, resulting in a board with maximum manuverability and performance in good conditions.

    At no extra charge we can substitute 3/4" which provides additional float at the cost of maneuverability. This can be particularly useful in areas where the waves are often not very powerful.
