Monday, 05 April 2010 16:18This past weekend at Cocoa Beach Pier saw the annual Easter Bunny Skim Bash. We are proud to announce that Brad Domke took the professional division and seems to be in the zone mentally as the UST quickly approaches. He's yet to lose in 2010, and is hungry after his 2009 effort came very close to the title. We would like to thank FloridaToday.com for writing up the event and including Brad as the highlight of the piece, but felt it necessary to correct some mistakes that were written in the article. Brad is not currently ranked #1 in the world, however we know he is easily capable of becoming #1, and expect him to give a great run at the title in 2010.
Skimboarding is believed to have originate in the 1920's by Laguna Beach lifegaurds, and though we would wish that skimboarding is the fastest growing water sport right now, we're not sure of that as well.
Nonetheless, we are very proud of Brad not only because of this win, but his entire career with us thus far. Keep up the stoke and hard work Brad.
