Just kidding.  Kyle actually burst onto the skim scene about 3 years ago when he entered the Vic and placed 1st, when the only other person that had heard of him was Steve Taylor.  All of a sudden people in Laguna were wondering how the inlanders learned how to skim.

Kyle is a natural athlete; he starts something and doesn't quit until he's the best.  You can also find him killing it at flatland biking where he excels.  It's been a pleasure having Kyle as a teammate and friend.  Like most if not all of the riders of Exile, Kyle is a guy you can go up to, start a conversation with and feel as if you've known the guy for years.  He's not afraid to open up to people and share some good words of advice or helpful tips. 

Also, he's gay.
