It is a little known fact that Ryah was Exile's very first team rider.  Many years before the idea of Exile was even created, Andy Chiavetta noticed a little kid at the local beaches with so much stoke and enthusiasm that Chia had no choice but to hook the kid up with a board.

Over the years Ryah was always one of the top competitors in his division but had always been balancing skimboarding with a host of other high school sports as well as competitive surfing.  This has always kept Ryah from reaching his true potential.

In recent times however Ryah seems to be skimming more and more, and it shows.  He won the most competitive amateur division at the world championships this year and shows a lot of promise as a professional rider.  We look forward to supporting Ryah in whatever he decides to do next.
