Chris Marciniak has been turning heads ever since he began skimboarding
nearly 4 years ago. He caught on quickly after learning how to skim
in his hometown of New Jersey and pulled one of the first ever kick-flips
in competition.
With a unique skate style, Chris placed first in numerous amateur events to others who have been skimming for many more years than him. Soon thereafter, Chris pursued his passion for the sport by moving to Laguna Beach, the headquarters of skimboarding, where he impressed many of the top skimmers and received best new rider at the Skim Rider Poll Awards in 2005.
