Jake Stinnett is a new face to the skim world but not for most Laguna
natives. He made his name known recently after receiving a
nomination for best new rider at the 2005 Rider Poll Awards. His
smooth style and easy going personality projected him into the pro ranks
at the early age of 15.
He impressed many by finishing 8th in his first pro event in Cabo 04. It wasn't long after when Jake received his highest pro result of 4th at the Thalia Contest that same year. Jake gets plenty of skim time in at top Laguna spots living at West St with what is probably the most skimboard-centric family in the world today, the Stinnetts.
