His abilities on the East Coast are certainly becoming more and more apparent, with a phenomenal pro debut in the contest circuit; even taking first in Cocoa Beach.  His style is based solely on his size and his speed.  His ability to ride lines in his hometown of Venice, Florida, and his technical savvy combine to make him a threat on the East Coast.  After a rather recent trip to Cabo and his debut on "legitimate" shorebreak, his big wave riding skills are certainly no longer an uncertainty.

Watch out for this country boy. He's certainly an up and comer.
