Hoku is a goofy foot that popped into the SoLag scene long ago, but literally over a summer, was able to fine tune his skills and quickly became the goofy foot grom that could get into any sider, and turn every head on the beach. It's not often you see someone develop as fast as Hoku did. George Bryan would sneak helpful hints into Hoku's ears as we all rode West St., and as the sider season passed it was obvious there was a new SoLag ripper to reckon with; whether it was free-skimming or in a contest.

Natural talent and style ooze from Hoku's blood. He's a down to earth person that can link lay backs to big spins with ease, and as he grows and gets faster, he's sure to progress even more. We easily expect Hoku to go Professional in a couple years as he works his way into the finals of nearly every contest entered. Watch out for this soft-spoken goofy foot in the future, as he'll be knocking down big names in no time.
