Mike was raised skimming the beaches of Florida, but moved out to the west coast when he was about 18 years old.  He quickly adapted to the power of the Pacific, and began killing it at spots up in Santa Cruz, and when he made the trek down to Southern Calfornia became a regular at Wedge. 

Mike travelled the world for a bit, and landed himself back in the Newport area over the last year or two, and has been reclaiming his spot in the lineup, showing he hasn't missed a beat.

He holds a healthy mix of smooth surf style and skimboarding tech, which normally is highlighted on 4-6 foot days at the one of the heaviest skim spots in the world.  Mike's been a part of Exile since 2005, and we can't be more stoked to have him.
