Ken Suzuki was first noticed by Exile team riders almost around the same time he touched his first skimboard. Ken started skimming in balboa in 2007 at the age of 12 with his peers and fellow skimboarders. Ken had a noticeable talent in the sport within a couple months after his first skim session.

Although he told me (Tommy d) to add my name in this biography as an influence, I would have to disregarded his request and agree with the local Balboa skimboarders and several others that Ken could be considered the new Domke or the Asian Domke, with his almost identical style and aggression. It wouldn’t surprise us if Ken spent his nights watching Domke’s techniques and stylish moves and figures out how he can make them his own.
