Writing a bio for Paulo Prietto is a daunting task. What's there to say about this incredibly talented, and humble skimboarder that hasn't been said by us or someone else a hundred times before? Not to mention, I'm not even sure we have enough bandwidth to list all his ongoing accomplishments in skimboarding. We could talk about how he won the UST three years straight in 2005, 2006, and 2007, placed 2nd on the tour in 2008, and shows no signs of slowing down. We could talk about how Paulo teaches skim lessons to help children and adults improve their skimboarding skills. We could talk about his numerous video sections and the ungodly number of photos that continue to wow not only skimboarders, but also people that know nothing about skimboarding. We could even go on to talk about how Paulo was an integral part in designing his Pro Model, and how that shape (the Pro Shape) is now a staple for team riders and customers alike.
The fact of the matter is Paulo Prietto is the real deal. He is a household name. He commands respect through his riding whether it be on the tiniest of days or macking Wedge with the most critical of tricks and an unparrelled style. He has been places that most skimboarders only dream of. And we aren't talking about all the travel that has taken him all over the U.S., Mexico, Chile, France, Portugal,Taiwan, and Japan. We are simply talking about the places he has been on and above the waves he's ridden on his skimboard.

It seems to us that the only things that haven't really been written about Paulo are those which haven't happened yet. Whatever the future holds for Paulo, you can be assured that Exile will be along for the ride. We are very proud of him, and proud that he chooses to put our boards under his feet.
