Blair Conklin, the wonder child, popped onto the skim world radar at the age of 11 when he handily won the micro-grom division at the 2006 Animal World Championships. South Laguna locals were however not surprised. He’s been studying the motion of the ocean since age one. At age three, he began throwing objects in the surf only to observe the physics of wave science. His years of study have paid off.

In his early teens, Blair continues to win most West Coast contests in his age division. In 2008, after taking 1st at the West Coast Championships, Blair went bicoastal and headed east to place second at the East Coast Championships behind local favorite, Perry Pruitt, one of our newer additions to the Exile amateur team. After meeting, Blair and Perry became instant friends and we know they'll be double-trouble against any competitor that comes their way.
We expect great things from Blair and we look forward to supporting him in skimboarding for a long time to come.
