DOUBLE CARBON FIBER - Carbon Fiber is practically synonymous with top of the line in any industry. This fabric is highly coveted in skimboards for its extreme strength and stiffness. Carbon fiber fabrics are about twice as strong and stiff as E-Glass. Boards made with this material come out a little stronger, a little lighter and a whole lot stiffer than S-Glass boards.

THE PRO SHAPE is best suited to advanced riders who want maximum speed on the wave. The longer profile and narrower nose of these boards makes them faster down the line and on siders, but not as comfortable in the pocket of the wave. But since the riders knows what he's doing, he doesn't need any extra help riding the barrel.

THE SAM ROCKER has slightly more nose rocker than our standard Hybrid rocker. This increase in nose rocker adds increased manueverability, especially in bigger wave conditions, at the cost of a tiny bit of speed.

5/8" THICKNESS - 5/8" is the thinner of the two thickness options that Exile offers.  The thinner profile makes the boards turn on a dime relative to their thicker brethren.  The additional manueverability does come at the cost of a little bit of speed, however.

TEXTURED FINISH - Our Textured Deck finish is a high performance option that no other manufacturer offers (though some try to imitate).  Our Textured Deck boards come out a little lighter than our gloss boards as well as stronger and significantly more durable.  It is the finish of choice for the entire Exile Team as well as experienced customers who are more focused on performance than cosmetics.  (Requires sanding for traction pad application
