Refund and warranty policy

Warranty

At Exile Skimboards we have a strong commitment to the quality of our products. We do everything possible to make sure that every board comes out right the first time, every time. However, every once in a great while, we slip up. In order to protect our valued customers from our own mistakes, we offer the following warranty with the purchase of our products.

We warrant that all products purchased from an Exile Skimboards Authorized Dealer to be free of defect in workmanship and materials for a period of 60 days from the date of purchase. This warranty does not cover damage due to impact, neglect, or the application of chemical agents. Only structural defect in materials and workmanship are covered under this warranty.

If you think there may be something wrong with the way your board was built, the first thing to do is contact the store you bought it from. If for some reason you are unable to contact them, then contact us directly at Exile Skimboards. Sending us an email with digital photos of the board in question is usually the quickest way to get the situation resolved. Should your board need to be sent in for further inspection it will need to be accompanies by a copy of the original receipt clearly identifying when and where the board was purchased. If your board is found to be defective we will repair or replace the boards and ship it to you at no charge

You are responsible for any charges incurred in getting the board to us for inspection, and also assume liability for any damages incurred during transport. If shipping via a common carrier, we recommend extensive padding around the board as well as purchasing insurance for the package.

Returns

Our policy lasts 30 days. If 30 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately we can’t offer you a refund or exchange.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.

Non-returnable items:
- Gift cards

To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.  In order to initiate a return you must first contact us to obtain a return authorization.

There are certain situations where only partial refunds are granted (if applicable)
- Any item not in its original condition, is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error
- Any item that is returned more than 30 days after delivery

Refunds (if applicable)

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within 10 days.

Late or missing refunds (if applicable)

If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.
Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.
Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.
If you’ve done all of this and you still have not received your refund yet, please contact us at info@exileskimboards.com.

Sale items (if applicable)

Only regular priced items may be refunded, unfortunately sale items cannot be refunded.

Exchanges (if applicable)

We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at info@exileskimboards.com and after obtaining a return authorization send your item to:

Shipping

To return your product, you should mail your product to: Exile Skimboards, LLC, 1060 Calle Negocio, Suite D, San Clemente CA 92673, United States

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable.

Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary.

If you are shipping an item over $75, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
